Oats

Oats began to be grown relatively late, about 2 thousand. years ago. Initially it was a weed in wheat and barley. Currently, it is one of the most popular cereals – grown both in Europe, North America and Western Asia. Unfortunately, the food sector manages only 5% of the world’s harvest.

The nutritional and energy value of oats is relatively high – it contains a lot of protein, 2-3 times more good fats than other cereals and B vitamins. It is known for its strengthening and regenerating properties of the body. Noteworthy is also the highest among groats content of soluble fiber -glucan, regulating the work of the intestines.

Preparation method: Prepare 200 ml of water or milk in a cooking dish. Slowly pour two tablespoons of Mom's witchcraft porridge. Bring to a boil all the time stirring until a uniform consistency and cook for 2-3 minutes.
