✔ O: SDPROG DASH displays 6 preset parameters and their exact values. The device allows you to monitor them and for additional functionalities such as OBDII parameter monitoring, Race mode, clocks and OBDII error erasure.

SDPROG DASH MICRO signals only the indicative fill state of the DPF filter using the diode color, and the sound signal informs about the start and end of its regeneration.

❓P: How is SDPROG DASH different from the SDPROG app for smartphones/tablets?

✔ O: SDPROG DASH is mainly a real-time monitor of car components, which displays the data selected by the user in a simple, clear and legible way. It also allows you to display fault codes and delete OBDII errors. However, it does not have access to diagnostics in service mode, which has the full version of the application for mobile devices and does not have descriptions of error codes.

DASH has an advantage over the application in the way parameters are presented. First of all, it always displays those parameters that you set during configuration, without having to manually set them each time, as is the case with the mobile application. In addition, it displays up to 6 parameters at the same time, always according to the configuration and immediately after starting the engine (in the application they are displayed individually). It can also be easily mounted in a magnetic holder permanently, and sound notifications (which are not in the mobile application) make monitoring much easier, e.g. DPF filter.

This makes DASH a much more convenient device to monitor component parameters while driving.

❓P: How is DASH powered? Can I leave the interface permanently plugged into the OBDII connector?

✔ O: We recommend that you connect the DASH to a power supply that is switched on "after ignition". This connection will automatically start the device along with the rest of the car. DASH also controls the operation of the interface - if the DASH screen is turned off, then the interface goes into sleep mode, so that it does not discharge the battery.

❓P. Is it possible to carry out adaptations, light control, reversing brake pistons, program keys or immobilizer and other changes in car parameters with this set?

✔ O: The presented set is not used to perform adaptations or make changes to vehicle parameters. The kit will be used primarily for monitoring the operation of vehicle components and erasing faults. Advanced diagnostic devices are required to make changes to vehicle parameters, which are much more expensive

❓P: How will this kit help me take care of my DPF filter?

✔ O: The kit allows you to monitor the status of the DPF filter in real time. DASH’s task is to detect any deviations in the filter’s operation so that you can take care of it in advance. It will also allow you to control the parameters of m.in. during the DPF firing process and check how much time has passed since the last firing of the filter.

❓P: Will I perform service-mode diagnostics with this kit in every car?

✔ O: Service mode is currently not available on the DASH device. To operate it, the SDPROG mobile application with a paid license is required.

❓P: What is the difference between SDPROG OBD and SDPROG OBD PRO interface?

✔ O: The SDPROG OBD PRO interface supports more connection lines - HSCAN, MSCAN, SWCAN and K-Line, thanks to which it offers greater compatibility with problematic car brands such as Opel, Ford, Chevrolet, Mazda and Saab, and the SDPROG OBD interface supports only 2 connection lines - HSCAN and K-Line. Current SDPROG DASH features do not require more connections in any brand, which is why it is only offered with the standard version of the interface.

❓P: Can I use this kit to encode mirrors, lamps and other parameters?

✔ O: No. With SDPROG you will not set the operating parameters of the vehicle - you can monitor them and detect possible engine errors, including deleting the Check Engine lamp. SDPROG detecting the error also suggests what may be the cause and how to fix it. The program is mainly used for diagnosis and error reading. Advanced diagnostic devices are required to make changes to vehicle parameters.

✔ O: Yes, it is possible to purchase the SDPROG program itself. You can find it at our other auctions. You can also verify whether the connection between the application, interface and car is possible in the DEMO version, which you can download from the manufacturer’s website or from the Google Play / AppStore.

✔ O: The demo version of SDPROG only allows you to verify that the device will connect to the car. To use the full functionality of the program, it is necessary to purchase a license.

❓P: On how many devices can I install the program if I decide to buy it?
