What substrate can I use this lift on?
Use this lift only on hard, even and stable ground. Do not put it on soft ground, gravel or sloping surface.
What is the adjustment screw at the top of the lift used for?
The adjustment screw is used to set the height of the lift before lifting the car (you will do it manually). This makes it easier to reach the support point and you do not have to pump from the lowest position right away.
How to vent the hydraulic system in this lift?
To vent the hydraulic system in this jack, turn off the lowering valve - the one at the bottom. Lift the lift “empty”, without load, to the top. Loosen the lowering valve. Press the plunger with your hand and lower it to the bottom. Repeat this step several times. After a few repetitions, lower the handle, push the piston rod down and, using a flat screwdriver, gently tilt the eraser, which is in the cylinder housing to vent the actuator.
Do I need to change or refill the oil in this model?
Yes, check the oil level in this model regularly, preferably before the season and when the lift was no longer used. Use hydraulic oil to refill or replace, e.g. HL-32.
How to check the oil level in this lift?
With the lift lowered, remove the rubber from the actuator housing. When the lift is upright, the oil should be flush with the hole in the cylinder.
How is the lowering valve handled in this lift?
You operate the lowering valve with the handle. You insert its tip into the valve seat at the base of the jack and gently twist it to lower the plunger. The harder you unscrew the valve, the faster the lift will fall.
