The use of ultrasonic waves to repel pests is known in the field of deratization and control of pests and insects. The appropriate intensity and frequency of the ultrasonic wave acts on the auditory and nervous systems of the most common insects and pests. These beings want to avoid being in the place of installation of the deterrent, thus leaving their nests. The deterrent also protects against the appearance of new individuals, effectively and permanently protecting your home, office or car.

The deterrent emits direct sound waves with a variable frequency of in the range of 25,000 Hz to 26,000 Hz with a duration of 0.3 seconds every 4 seconds. Variable frequency means that pests are not able to get used to the sound.

For example, a clock with a frequency of 1 sec. After some time, it becomes inconvenient for a person and we begin to treat it as a background. In the case of a deterrent, the wave height is variable and the short signal (0,3 sec. ) with interval breaks of 4 seconds. causes the nervous system of pests to be strongly attacked, making these sounds unacceptable to them, and thus leaving the place where the device was installed.

The LS-925M is an enhanced model powered by two 9V batteries, thanks to which the device can work from 6 to even 8 months in 24 hour mode.

The effective range of repelling martens, mice and rats is about 140 to 180 square meters in open space and about 80 square meters for insects of smaller sizes like fleas and ticks.

An undoubted advantage of the device is the battery power supply of the device, thanks to which it can be installed in hard-to-reach places, devoid of sockets and power sources, in extreme parts of buildings, in cabinets, cars and outbuildings.
