The GL-1+ has undergone a facelift and software has been updated, making measurements even faster and more accurate, and the menu more transparent. The meter also received a brand new measuring probe and a new high-quality improved housing.

The gl-1+ model has a measuring probe built into the meter, while the letter "s" in the designation of the gl-1s+ model says that the measuring probe of the meter is placed on the cable. The rest of the parameters and functions remain the same.

The device is based on a modern, fast processor and new measurement algorithm.

The meter has a probe on the wire. Cable length approx. 65cm.

With the GL-1s+ meter, it is possible to measure on steel and galvanized steel (not aluminum). Measurement range (paint thickness): 0µm to 1100µm. Measurement resolution: 10µm or 1µm.

It tells the evaluator whether he had tin-paint repairs.

The meter has a zero function (calibration) – the zero plate is included.

1x 9V alkaline battery (e.g. 6LR61).

Thanks to the use of modern design, this meter is very economical. One 9V alkaline battery is enough to power it. The working time on such a battery reaches up to several hours of continuous operation.

There is a battery level indicator on the meter display. Thanks to the indicator, we will not be surprised by a discharged battery and we can replace it in advance.

The meter is operated from the 5-function main MENU, and navigation is done using a 2-button keyboard.

When the function is turned on, the meter signals with an LED about the condition of the flashing machine:

• LED does not shine – correct varnish;
• LED pulsates – the second layer of varnish;
• the diode shines continuously – putty or more layers of varnish.

It should be noted that the ASSISTANT function is only to help in the interpretation of measurements, it can not be the basis for an unambiguous answer to the question whether the car had tin and varnish repairs. Nevertheless, many people who evaluate cars do not really know what a given paint thickness means, which is why the above function is to help in this.
