A driving recorder is an on-board camera that continuously captures a view through the windshield of a vehicle. Recorded material can be used as evidence in the event of a road accident, burglary or vandalism. Once the vehicle is parked, the camera can continue to record video and take photos if it detects vandalism.

Alpine offers a high-end driving recorder (DVR-F800PRO), which includes driver assistance functions, as well as a standard recording model (DVR-F200). Optional rear cameras are also available for both models. You can use the convenient application to make corrections and view recordings at any time.

Best quality recordings

The DVR-F800PRO records 1080p Full HD video at 30 frames per second and is equipped with a Sony Exmores STARVIS sensor, providing excellent recording quality even at night. This allows you to record important information, such as vehicle license plates, to have solid evidence of events in court. Geoinformation GPS information and driving speed are also recorded.

Recording in case of collision

After entering the vehicle and starting the engine, the driving recorder will automatically start recording. Recorded videos are saved in one-minute segments with an automatic looping mechanism. In the event of an accident, the active impact monitoring system automatically records video data ten seconds before the collision and after the collision recorded by the 3-axis acceleration sensor. DVR-F800PRO is factory equipped with a micro SD card with a capacity of 32 GB.

Play and download recorded videos along with route history and speed markers and see if any videos have been marked by a camera with a recorded impact by another car (parking mode). Warnings and driver support

The DVR-F800PRO is equipped with additional driver assistance technology to ensure safety. A lane crossing warning warns you if your vehicle is driving safely. Collision warning helps prevent or reduce collisions. Notification of the departure of the vehicle in front allows the driver to see that the vehicle in front is leaving from the intersection. You can also load the speed camera database into the DVR-F800PRO to receive alerts when approaching a speed camera or a camera monitoring your ride at a red light.

Line crossing warning system

Sleepiness or driving in a state of distraction significantly increase the chance of an accident on the road. The lane departure warning system warns the driver when the vehicle exits the lane at speeds above 50 km/h.

Anti-collision warning system

Many accidents can be avoided while maintaining a safe distance. The DVR-F800PRO’s upcoming collision warning system calculates the real-time distance between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you when driving more than 30 km/h on motorways or less than 30 km/h in urban traffic and issues 3-degree early driver warnings depending on the danger of a collision.

Notification of departure of the vehicle in front

When the car stops at an intersection or in traffic, the intelligent navigation system tells you that the vehicle in front has started to move, which prevents a delayed response in case you stop looking ahead.

Speed Camera Warnings

You can download the speed camera database using the smartphone app to receive alerts when you approach speed cameras or cameras monitoring your ride at a red light (legal use of this feature is subject to local traffic regulations).

Vehicle surveillance day and night

DVR-F800PRO is equipped with parking mode, which allows you to supervise the car even at night. Compatible with DAB and TV

Many driving recorders interfere with the reception of the signal by DAB and DVB-T tuners. Alpine driving recorders generate very low levels of electrical noise and therefore do not harm the reception of digital radio and television signals in the car.
