Reduced battery consumption with reduced operation: Storage mode

Storage mode is activated whenever the battery is not used for 24 hours. In this mode, the voltage is reduced to 13,2 V to minimize gassing and corrosion at the positive poles. Once a week, the voltage is raised to the absorption voltage to recharge the battery. This prevents electrolyte delamination and sulfurization - the main causes of premature battery consumption.

Five LEDs indicating charging status and operating mode.

When the AC input is connected, the LED STANDBY lights up, without passing the voltage to the output. When connected to the battery (battery voltage must exceed 8,5V), charging is initiated by pressing the MODE button and selecting one of the three charging modes:

• 1. Current limitation 0,8A and absorption voltage 14,4V. The red LED "<14Ah" lights up
• 2. Current limitation 4A and absorption voltage 14,4V. The red LED "<14Ah" lights up

Application: wet batteries (standard), AGM, gel. Ambient temperature from 10 to 35°C.

• 3. Current limitation 4A and absorption voltage 14,7V. The red “COLD” diode lights up.

Application: wet batteries (standard), AGM, gel. Ambient temperature below 10°C or when the battery requires a higher charging voltage. Until the battery is fully charged, the red CHARGE LEDs light up. When the battery is fully charged, the red FULL LED will light up.

If connected in reverse polarity, the red LED will light up “! ” after pressing the MODE button. If the LED STANDBY continues to light up after pressing the MODE button, it means that the connection with the battery is interrupted. Charger when AC power is turned on, it is always on in STANDBY mode.
