The permissible temperatures of the internal components of the charger can reach up to about 70 to 77 ° C, which in accordance with safety standards is within the range of proper operation. The housing usually reaches a lower temperature, but can still be warm.

The charger has built-in thermal protection – if the temperature rises too much, it will automatically limit the power or turn off to ensure safe operation.

Is it safe to charge the device with a higher power charger?

Yes — charging your device with a higher power charger is completely safe.

The device communicates with the charger itself and consumes only as much energy as is suitable for it.

What’s more, the charging parameters change during operation – the closer to 100%, the lower the current is consumed. This is normal battery protection.

A higher-power charger will not force faster charging if the device does not support such power.

Can the charger be safely left permanently plugged into an outlet?
