9 stage charging mode

• Stage 1 - Diagnostics: Analyze whether the battery can accept charge or not. This avoids charging a malfunctioning battery;
• Stage 2 - Sulphurization: the rectifier regenerates heavily discharged batteries in this mode.
• Stage 3 - Charging preliminary: If the battery voltage is below 12V, the rectifier charges with low current to better protect the battery;
• Stage 4 - Mild start: Gradual charging until maximum intensity is reached without sudden spikes.
• Stage 5 - CC1,CC2,CC3 (Permanent current):Fast change of speed, change of intensity depending on the condition of the battery, has a positive effect on battery life;
• Stage 6 - CV (Permanent Voltage): The battery is charged almost fully and then recharged to 14,6V DC;
• Stage 7 - Rest: The rectifier will cut off the power when the battery is fully charged, when the word FULL appears on the display;
• Stage 8 - Renew: If after fully charging the battery, the voltage drops below 12.8V within 2 minutes, the rectifier will detect it automatically.
• Stage 9 - Restoration: The rectifier automatically detects the full charge of the battery indicated by the appearance of the word FULL on the display. After falling below 12.8V, it will perform stages from 4 to 7 again.

Additional safeguards

• REVERSE POLARITY PROTECTION - An error code indicating REVERSE POLARITY is displayed, the transmission of energy to the output wires is blocked.
• SHORT-CIRCUIT PROTECTION - Protection is activated when the rectifier detects below 0,5V at the terminals, the transmission of energy to the output wires will be blocked.
• SURGE PROTECTION - Protection is activated when setting the charging voltage other than the detected parameter.
• PROTECTION AGAINST OVERHEATING - The rectifier will reduce the charging intensity and even turn off if overheating is detected. After cooling, the rectifier will resume work.
• BATTERY DIAGNOSTICS FUNCTION - The rectifier constantly monitors the status of the battery and can report a charging error in the form of an error code.
• WORKING MODE SELECTION MEMORY FUNCTION - The microprocessor inside the rectifier is equipped with settings memorization functions, which means that the rectifier will select the last used battery charging settings. Thanks to this, the user does not have to worry about forgetting what settings he used recently, it also reduces the time of preparing the rectifier for work.
• BATTERY DESULPHURIZATION FUNCTION - In case of deep battery discharge, sulphation may occur. This feature allows you to reverse this process and extend the life of the battery. If the desulfurization process fails, the rectifier will show an ER2 error.
