The Joie i-Traver i-Size car seat is a representative of the last product group dedicated to children from 100 cm height to 150 cm height, which is part of the Signature series. The series, which is characterized by a chic design, reflecting current fashion trends and is based on natural, earthy colors. Quilted materials made of super soft fabric are combined here with elegant accents made of vegan leather.

Appearance is not everything. The Joie i-Traver is primarily a safe and comfortable car seat. The design of this model was created in accordance with the construction guidelines of the latest European standard UN R-129/03, i.e. i-Size.

i-Traver is a model in which we drive the child forward-facing. In order to protect the young passenger, he uses a 3-point car belt. The main task of the seat is to ensure the correct course of the belt relative to the construction of the child during the full period of use. Belt guides are used for this purpose: in the shoulder section, which can be found directly under the headrest, as well as in the hip section - here in the form of armrests.

The headrest has 10 levels of height adjustment, making adjusting the belt mileage even easier.

Additional energy-intensive panels of the Guard Surround Safety side protection system provide additional protection during such a collision. They work even more effectively in combination with a headrest built in Tri-Protect technology. It is a three-layer protection zone, which includes a patented Intelli-Fit memory foam.

A high level of stability of the seat in the car is achieved thanks to ISOFIX attachment. The system rails slide out of the seat and are adjustable in the angle of setting and its length - making it easier to fasten in the car. In addition, when necessary, the seat can be used without this attachment. Indicators of correct installation will suggest the correct catching of ISOFIX rails in the hooks of the system. The rails themselves also have a lock to prevent accidental removal.

The Joie i-Traver is a model that meets the safety standard of the ECE R-129/03 standard. This European type-approval shall carry out crash tests on every possible type: front, side and rear of the vehicle. Their credit is now the basic guarantee of security.

In May 2021, we also learned the results of ADAC tests of this model. He received a good score of 1.9 for safety, which is 4 stars. It performed particularly well for side collisions, receiving a rating of 1.2, which is 5 stars.

ADAC is a German automobile with over 17 million car enthusiasts. ADAC conducts tests on child seats. It has been evaluating them on a scale of 1-5. The German rating system applies (the lower the rating, the better). in Poland for a better understanding of the results of ADAC tests, "asterisks" are used, so when the ADAC car seat receives a rating of 1 - "sehr gut" (very good), in Poland it is said to have 5 stars *****.
