However, GB does not rest on its laurels and presents its newer, improved version, i.e. GB Vaya 2 i-Size! This is not a revolution, but an evolution aimed at introducing changes that are to increase the safety of the child on the go and increase the comfort of use.

GB Vaya 2 i-Size, and GB Vaya i-Size - difference

The first element that catches the eye is the reduction insert. It has been redesigned and is significantly different from the previous version. The method of its installation has been changed here. It is put directly on the seat, not as before to the inner part of the headrest and under the backrest. Its shape also differs from the original. It has additional side wings, which can be found both at the child's head and on the side of the torso. Their use is aimed at ensuring even better wrapping of the baby inside the seat by reducing free space. Its part, which is located in the headrest, has been filled with thermoplastic foam, and this supporting the spine with high-quality elastic foam. Additional gusset under the toddler's bottom also improves his position inside the seat. The insert itself has the same purpose and is dedicated to children from approx. 45cm to approx. 60cm. Its new shape allows you to try to transport such small children in this model.

The changes also did not bypass the seat, specifically the headrest and related systems. Previously, it was enough to raise the headrest to the right height and we could adjust the seat according to the direction of travel. Now, there is a switch inside the shell that we block or release the rotation function in the full 360 degree range. This is also related to another way of handling the headrest height adjustment. In the GB Vaya 2 i-Size, the button to change its position is located in its upper part, and not as before - between the baby's shoulder blades. This change also allows you to raise the headrest itself higher, thus allowing you to transport larger children in it, thereby extending its period of use.

On the elements of the L.S.P. system we find orange dots, which are conspicuous to remind us of the need to open them before traveling from the door side.

i-Size. It is intended for children from birth to approx. 4 years old. Has a weight limit of a maximum child weight of 18kg. The growth range has also been determined, ranging from 45cm to 105cm respectively. This is the recommended and safest form of travel for a child at this age. Alternatively, children over 15 months of age (average height 76cm), can also travel according to the direction of travel, i.e. forward.

Rotation, as well as the change of direction itself, is operated by one central button located between the legs of the child, to which we have constant, free access. With the same button, we operate the backrest tilt mechanism. The GB Vaya 2 i-Size has 5 angle changes positions for rearward driving, and 3 positions for forward driving.

A wide range of settings allows you to find the right riding position for a sleeping baby, at which his head will not fall on the chest.

Changing the height of the headrest also affects the position of the 5-point harness. Such a large number of setting options allows you to correctly adjust the internal space relative to the constantly growing child. The new headrest adjustment system (the button located in its back) is convenient to use. Compared to the previous version, it rises higher, which in combination with the extended length of the harness allows you to transport larger children.

As with everyday, simple operation, it is equally intuitive and problem-free to mount the GB Vaya 2 i-Size in the car. Long, independently adjustable ISOFIX attachment rails are easily attached to the attachment hooks.

ER-TECH energy reduction system - protection of the child's head and neck during a frontal collision
