The reasonably designed KIDFIX i-SIZE weighs about 1.3 kg less than its predecessor. The KIDFIX i-SIZE is manufactured in our factory in Germany - which shortens transport routes and minimizes environmental impact. We have also replaced our packaging with sustainable options: KIDFIX i-SIZE is packed in plant-based bags and recycled cartons from responsible sources. Even product information tags are biodegradable so that no microplastics enter the ecosystem.

Developed in close collaboration with leading car manufacturers, the seat is designed to reduce neck loads by up to 10%*.

Exceptional neck and head protection

Despite good planning and careful driving, you can never prepare for a collision. Britax Römer has developed an overlay made of energy-consuming foam to protect the delicate neck area of your child in the event of a frontal collision. It prevents the baby's chin from hitting the chest, absorbing up to 30%* of energy. A head-to-head tug is less violent and the neck is protected. At the same time, the foam overlay provides additional padding at the edges of the seat belt.

Advanced protection in the event of side collisions – SICT

SICT technology gives your child improved protection in the event of side impacts. It reduces the impact force by reducing the distance between the car interior and the car seat and absorbing energy before it reaches the child. SICT reduces lateral impact forces by up to 40%*

SecureGuard

SecureGuard helps protect your baby’s delicate abdominal area with an additional – fourth attachment point of the standard 3-point seat belt. By keeping the hip belt in an optimal position above the child’s hip bones, SecureGuard helps reduce the forces affecting the abdomen in the event of a frontal collision up to 35%*, while giving the child freedom of movement while riding.

Easily adjustable, ergonomic headrest

The headrest is designed with the comfort of older children in mind and can be easily positioned in the right position. Useful markings on the back of the headrest help parents find the right headrest height every time they move the seat between cars or transport other children in the same seat.

Attached with safety belts and ISOFIX attachment

This seat should be installed both with the three-point seat belts of the car and with ISOFIX attachment points. This ensures a secure and durable connection between the car seat and the car, even if the child is not sitting in the car seat. The KIDFIX i-SIZE has integrated ISOFIX connectors, allowing you to attach the seat to the ISOFIX attachment points in your car. The ISOFIX-based installation system enables excellent operation of the seat in the event of an accident, in which the child is fastened with a 3-point seat belt. It also ensures that the seat is always firmly attached, even when not in use by a child. Attached with seat belts

This car seat can be installed with three-point car seat belts. This is a convenient choice if you intend to move the seat between cars that may not have ISOFIX attachment points. Belt guides on the seat will help in its proper installation.
