Jura E6 Dark Inox (ED) is an automatic coffee maker for people who want to drink great coffee every day, but without unnecessary complications. Jura E6 Dark Inox (ED) offers 17 specialties, which is a set really well thought out for everyday use. On board are classics such as espresso, coffee, americano, lungo or espresso doppio, but also variants prepared in Light Brew mode, e.g. Light Brew Espresso, Light Brew Coffee, Light Brew Espresso Macchiato, Light Brew Cappuccino and Light Brew Latte Macchiato.

In addition, there are milk specialties, a portion of milk and hot water. This is a very sensible arrangement: you have both intense, classic drinks and milder compositions with a more delicate profile.

E6 does not focus on effectiveness for the sake of effectiveness, but on readability and convenience. The 3,5" color screen works with six side buttons, making operation fast and very clear. The coffee maker has a clear menu, and separate “color worlds” for Hot Brew and Light Brew make it easy to orientate and select the right mode. It’s hardware that gives you a sense of control, but doesn’t require you to click through complicated layers of settings. In addition, the E6 works with the J.O.E.® app, so you can conveniently save your preferences and start drinks from your phone.

This is one of the most interesting features of this model. Jura E6 (ED) combines Hot Brew, a classic way of preparing expressive, intense coffees, with Light Brew mode, designed for a milder, more aromatic reception. In the materials of the manufacturer Light Brew is described as extraction carried out around 60°C, thanks to which the drink gains a more delicate character and can be associated with the elegance of well-prepared filtered coffee. In practice, this gives you much more freedom: one day you can choose a classic espresso with a stronger profile, and another – coffee more subtle and ready to drink.

Professional Aroma Grinder 2 (P.A.G.2) is responsible for the quality of taste, i.e. a grinder designed for high precision and repeatable results. It allows you to extract the full aromatic profile of grains and maintain consistency of work. The user has at his disposal 7 levels of grinding degree adjustment, plus 10 levels of coffee power and 3 levels of brewing temperature. The whole is also supported by P.E.P.®, which is an optimized extraction technology, especially important for shorter specialties such as espresso. It is a set of solutions that gives not only convenience, but also a real impact on the final taste of the drink.

Jura E6 Dark Inox (ED) has a double coffee spout, which goes well with the presence of drinks such as 2x Espresso and 2x Coffee in the coffee machine menu. This is a practical solution, especially in the morning or when you are preparing coffee for two people at the same time. The coffee spout itself has a height adjustment of 65 to 111 mm, as does the cappuccino spout and hot water, so it is easier to fit the coffee maker into both a small cup of espresso and a larger glass. This is a detail that really improves the daily use of equipment.

The E6 is equipped with the Easy Cappuccino function, which prepares well-balanced milk drinks and allows you to get a delicate, fine foam. The system was designed to complement the coffee with milk foam with the appropriate structure after selecting the drink and a simple movement of the knob. An additional advantage is the hot water nozzle, which can be mounted if necessary and quickly prepare water for tea or other hot drinks.

The 1,9 l water tank is a very convenient starting point for everyday use. You do not have to stop the machine every now and then to add water, especially when you prepare several drinks in a row. This goes hand in hand with a 280 g grain container and a grounds container containing about 16 servings, so the E6 works well not only in the calm rhythm of the day, but also during the visit of guests. It is an espresso machine designed so that it does not absorb the user more than necessary.

In the E6 model, we equip the machine with the Coffee Timer function, which allows you to prepare black coffee specialties exactly for the selected time. This solution shows our approach to everyday convenience: coffee is to be freshly ground, not based on capsules or half-measures. This feature works great when you want to start your day with ready-made coffee without additional waiting and without taking all the steps from the beginning. It is worth remembering that Coffee Timer works in conjunction with the optional Wi-Fi Connect V2 and free J.O.E.® application.

In the E6 model, we also give the possibility of using a channel for ground coffee, and in addition, it is worth emphasizing that the entire system is monitored. This solution works great when we use grains on a daily basis, but from time to time we want to prepare e.g. Decaffeinated coffee or reach for another mixture at once. No need to empty the grain container or change the entire organization of the machine - just use the additional channel and maintain full convenience of use.

In E6, we strongly focus on the convenience of care and everyday comfort of use. Quality Assistant helps you through the most important maintenance activities and reminds you of issues such as filter replacement or the need to refill fresh water. The Express works with the CLARIS Smart+ filter, offers automatic filter detection, integrated rinsing, cleaning and descaling programs, as well as a monitored drip tray. In addition, there is a certified hygiene JURA hygiene: TÜV-certified, which confirms that we attach as much importance to cleanliness and safety of use as to the taste of coffee itself.
