The AT-LP3XBT from Audio-Technica is a new version of the fully automatic AT-LP3 model with belt drive, enriched with support for Bluetooth connectivity and aptX codec. The device combines the rich experience of the Japanese manufacturer with modernity. Insert AT-VM95C and headshell AT-HS3

The turntable is equipped with a VM Stereo Dual Magnet cartridge, more specifically the AT-VM95C model with an aluminum bracket and a conical-cut needle. Thanks to it, the device is able to read even the smallest nuances in the recording, and high rigidity allows you to reduce losses in the played signal. The AT-HS3 universal headshell and built-in phono preamplifier allow you to use both MM cartridges (from eng. Moving Magnet) and MC (English) Moving Coil). The headshell is attached to a straight arm that works with a hydraulically damped lifting mechanism and lock.

Solid and functional design

The AT-LP3XBT supports two of the most popular disc rotation speeds, i.e. 33 1/3 and 45 rpm. /min. The equipment includes an adapter that allows you to adapt the AT-LP3XBT model to play discs at a speed of 45 RPM. The design of the device is based on a properly damped base, which allows you to eliminate unwanted vibrations that negatively affect the quality of the sound being played. The anti-resonance plate made of cast aluminum, on which there is a solid felt mat, also has a beneficial effect on the sound. Its task is also to reduce the formation of and stabilize playback.

Built-in phono preamp

The AT-LP3XBT model is distinguished by its far-reaching attention to detail and extremely attractive price. It has a built-in phono preamplifier, which allows you to connect it to the line input in the signal amplification device used in the stereo system (e.g. in an integrated amplifier). However, if we have equipment equipped with a good quality phono preamplifier, then we can give up the one built into the AT-LP3XBT model. The appropriate Phono/Line operating mode is enough to select using the switch located on the rear panel of the turntable.
