Suitable for the whole family
It is ideal for measuring temperature (at home) even in infants thanks to its small and soft probe. The Braun ThermoScan® thermometer sensor is designed so that it does not threaten the eardrum regardless of the age of the subject. Although the tip of the thermometer does not fit into the ear canal of a newborn, clinical studies have shown that the Braun ThermoScan® thermometer allows you to get an accurate temperature reading in patients in this age group, if only used with due caution.
Age Precision® technology
Studies show that the definition of fever changes with the age of the patient. Given this fact, the temperature considered normal in a child aged 4 years, can be a feverish condition in a newborn. In order to avoid poor results and poor temperature interpretation, Braun has developed a unique Age Precision® technology that helps to correctly interpret the temperature measurement result in a child taking into account his age.
Night mode
The BRAUN Thermoscan 7+ IRT6525 has a built-in flashlight that makes it easy to direct the thermometer to the ear canal during night testing. Night mode ensures quiet operation, so as not to wake the child from sleep.
Patented heated tip
Unlike other ear thermometers, the BRAUN Thermoscan 7+ IRT6525 has a heated tip, which reduces the cooling of the place where we measure the temperature, and thus allows for accurate temperature reading. The soft speculum and tip do not irritate the ear and do not disturb children during measurement. When measuring temperature, the soft, gentle head heats up to 34°C without causing stress. In addition, the ExacTemp® chip helps to correctly place the thermometer in the ear using light and sound signals.
