The device combines the reference ESS ES9039Q2M converter with the 16-core XMOS XU-316 USB interface, supporting PCM files up to 32-bit/384kHz and native DSD256, and the built-in 10-band PEQ equalizer (configured by the TOPPING Tune application) allows for precise adjustment of sound characteristics. The amplifier section, powered exclusively by a USB port, delivers 1000 mW per channel (4,4 mm) and 800 mW (3,5 mm), providing a black background (0,9 µVrms noise) and enough power for challenging planar headphones. The TRRS front 3,5mm jack supports microphone in headsets (up to 24-bit/192kHz), making it ideal for gamers and streamers. The rear panel offers 4,4 mm balanced line outputs, RCA and optical SPDIF, while the IR remote control allows convenient volume control. The hardware UAC 1.0/2.0 switch ensures compatibility with PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch consoles, and includes USB-A and USB-C cables.
