The first product from MOONDROP a decade ago was a flat-head earbud – carefully designed, well-received, and key to the brand's identity. With the Nice Buds model, the manufacturer returns to this classic format, enriching it with modern acoustic engineering, structural innovations, and user-oriented solutions. Flat-head earbuds are back in their best form.

Powerful 15.4mm Driver with Enhanced Bass Tuning

Nice Buds utilize a specially tuned 15.4mm dynamic driver with a neodymium magnet, which improves resonant coupling in the open design. This ensures a natural, smooth, and enjoyable sound signature. The dual rear cavity damping system — with a built-in bass-enhancing tube and four high-damping vents — precisely controls low and mid-low frequencies. As a result, the bass is powerful and textured, without sacrificing clarity in the midrange.

Precise Front Cavity Acoustics

To achieve higher sound clarity, the front of the housing has been redesigned, adding optimized multi-hole ventilation and internal waveguide channels. This design ensures consistent airflow, stable wave guidance, and natural dispersion throughout the frequency range, resulting in better transparency and higher detail.

In-ear sponge positioning limiter

Flat-head headphones often face the problem of slipping or falling sponges. Nice Buds solve this with a hub-like design that locks the sponges firmly into place. This improves acoustic consistency, prevents shifting and increases the comfort of long-term use.

Ergonomic asymmetrical design with better bass response

Instead of the traditional symmetrical housing, Nice Buds use asymmetrical geometry tailored to the anatomy of the ear. This allows for closer contact with the tragus and the entrance of the ear canal, reducing fatigue and improving stability. A better seal further amplifies the bass, giving flat-head headphones a deeper and fuller sound.

Inspired by the classic form of the MX500, but redesigned according to the principles of modern minimalism, Nice Buds combine structure, comfort, precision and attractive appearance. Available in transparent and black‑ transparent versions, they offer simplicity in a modern version.
