Kinera Norn is the latest hybrid in-ear monitors from this brand with an excellent artistic presence. The headphones look great thanks to the mirror finish of the back cavity and the hand-painted, artistic pattern. Norn includes a hybrid configuration with five drivers on each side, including a powerful 7mm dynamic driver combined with four balanced armature drivers tuned to deliver superior acoustic performance.

7mm Premium Dynamic Transducer

Norn is equipped with a 7mm dynamic transducer, providing excellent response on the lower band. The transducer has the highest quality components, such as a strong N52 ring magnet with a magnetic flux of 1,5 Tesla, a pure copper Daikoku coil imported from Japan, and a composite membrane with a high polycarbonate content coated with titanium. The titanium-coated composite membrane moves quickly in the transducer cavity, producing a truly thunderous, high-quality bass response.

High-performance Knowles BA pickups

Kinera opted for high-performance Knowles BA transducers to pair with the DD unit. The response has high-resolution clarity with natural tone to take your musical experience to a whole new level. This combination of 4 high-quality Knowles BA pickups provides Norn with a great high-frequency extension and clear instrument positioning with the utmost clarity and detail.

Professionally designed acoustic design

The front cavity of the Norn headphones consists of a specially designed 3-channel frequency crossover to eliminate the possibility of distortion of multiple drivers simultaneously. The channels are designed in such a length that they do not adversely affect the sound in any way, providing users with an accurately mapped frequency response over a wide frequency range.

Reflective back of housing

There are smooth reflective tiles on the shells of the headphones that provide a perfect look thanks to hand-painted covers. They also reduce sound loss and latency due to the diffuse reflection of the rear chamber.

Silver Plated High Purity Copper Cable

The Norn headphones come with a high-quality audio cable that ensures uninterrupted audio signal transmission. Imported 26AWG coaxial cable is used as conductor with PVC outer insulation. It consists of 8 cores of 192 conductors for each of the silver-plated copper alloys in the spiral weave. The cable has universal, 2-pin 0,78 mm connectors and a balanced 2,5 mm plug.

'As a whole, I think the Kinera Norn is a good IEM but it could've been better. The coherency is a problem and the treble is a bit too sharp for long listening sessions. What would've made this monitor better you might ask. I think a softer treble, and better defined and more full-bodied mid range could.
