New transducer with free edges, original diaphragm and magnetic fluid

The new 10 mm diameter transducer includes a 5 micron thick diaphragm made of a very durable special aluminum material that dampens unwanted vibrations and a flexible material with free edges. The special aluminum material results in better high-frequency sound reproduction, and the slow-edge material lowers the lowest resonance frequency, allowing for excellent low-frequency sound reproduction. In addition, the magnetic fluid near the vibrating coil maximizes the characteristics and provides high precision expansion of the membrane with a flexible edge and the effect of significant damping, which was previously difficult to achieve. As a result, sound reproduction takes place over a wide frequency range with very low distortion.

The coaxial cylinder housing of the EAH-TZ700 maximizes the potential of the transducer. The patented air control chamber inside the unit precisely controls the internal airflow and optimizes the frequency bandwidth balance. As a result, the sound resolution is improved and a stunning sound space is created.

The original case was made of various metal materials, which was aimed at improving the quality and intensity of sound. The part of the housing near the port where the sound comes from is made of lightweight very strong titanium, which is a material used in the production of aircraft and Precision Motion pickups. Permanently supports the transducer and suppresses unwanted vibrations. The main housing is magnesium casting characterized by excellent vibration damping parameters. The 3D shape allows you to choose the most suitable angle of insertion into the ear and for an optimal fit to ensure exceptional wearing comfort.

Dedicated cables and headphones designed for superior sound quality

The EAH-TZ700 headphones are equipped with two types of cables: balanced and unbalanced. The user can choose the right one depending on their preferences or the connection environment. The universal MMCX connector for connecting to the main unit provides additional versatility in terms of re-wiring. Earbuds are important and affect sound quality. In addition to the regular and round shaped earbuds, oval earbuds are offered for excellent isolation from ambient sounds. What’s more, each type of ear piece includes four different sizes. The compact magnesium housing of the EAH-TZ700 headphones has a graphite-black finish, which is the trademark of Technics. The MMCX connector clamp on the main unit is knurled and gold plated.
