Moondrop presents a brand new and improved Quark 2

Moondrop introduces Quark 2, an upgrade to the Quarks model. It features a 7,8mm dynamic driver with integrated DSP technology for clear and precise sound. The LCP composite membrane provides a detailed output sound. The Quark 2 comes with a Type-C cable, making it compatible with Windows, Android, and iOS. The cable also features a built-in microphone and three-button media control, allowing you to easily tune with the Moondrop Link app. Designed for Hi-Res music with low-latency connectivity, its bullet-shaped structure provides a tight fit and effective noise isolation.

Author's dynamic transducer 7,8 mm

The Moondrop Quark 2 is equipped with a specially developed 7,8mm dynamic transducer for low distortion. The Moondrop Quark 2 houses a composite LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) membrane with flexible suspension designed specifically for the closed front cavity structure for detailed high-frequency sound for an immersive listening experience.

N52 magnetic circuit with vibrating coil CCAW

Moondrop Quark 2 includes an advanced N52 magnetic circuit with a lightweight CCAW coil for efficient energy conversion and responsiveness. This setup is designed for a wide soundstage with powerful bass and a detailed mid-range for an enhanced listening experience.

Type C cable with DAC + AMP and SOC included

The headphones come complete with a Type-C terminated cable, featuring a 40nm SOC with integrated DSP, CPU, RAM and AMP architecture. Moondrop Quark 2 provides wired lossless transmission, eliminating latency issues, effortlessly supporting Hi-Res music, games or movies. The USB Type-C interface is designed based on the standard UAC 2.0 audio protocol, compatible with devices with a standard USB-C interface. It can support complex audio filters and delivers hardware-decoded high-definition audio up to 32 bits/384 kHz for high-resolution lossless music. Moondrop Quark 2 is equipped with an interactive online DSP that allows you to tune your music with a variety of filters and equalizer settings and share it with friends using the Moondrop Link app for seamless connectivity.

Moondrop Quark 2 offers a wide frequency range based on the target VDSF response. Three pre-set tuning mechanisms deliver exceptional acoustic performance. Audio SOC chip provides full level without distortion less than 0,05%. Moondrop Quark 2 accurately matches the acoustic feedback characteristics of different ear canals and carefully matches the target frequency response of the VDSF 5128 Demo as measurements on the all-new B&K5128 broadband head and torso stimulator.

Ergonomically designed with a dual acoustic filter Moondrop Quark 2 is ergonomically designed based on the principles of durability and reliability for an attractive appearance. It has additional protection and anti-vibration measures for sensitive parts with a dedicated channel for acoustic transmission. It is embedded in a double acoustic filter design made of various damping materials to eliminate color burrs and reduce the Q value of ultra-high tones. The Moondrop Quark 2 features a closed front cavity design for exceptional sound isolation and minimizes the risk of hearing damage during long hours of music listening.
