The first generation Blessing IEM gained worldwide recognition thanks to its reasonable price, innovative acoustic design and excellent performance. Its successor, Blessing 2, built on this success with reference-quality sound, impeccable detail and comprehensively improved hardware performance, upending the hybrid headphone rankings and achieving benchmark product status.

After over three years of continuous development and tuning, the long-awaited successor to Blessing 2 has arrived: Blessing 3.

2DD + 4BA Advanced Hybrid Triple-Frequency Division

Blessing 3 continues the physical frequency division framework of previous versions by using state-of-the-art 3D printing. Utilizes a new horizontally opposed, dual dynamic bass driver module that provides higher dynamic range and lower dynamic non-linear distortion than previous versions.

Improved implementation of hybrid frequency division further optimized midrange continuity and smoothness, ensuring ultra-high detail. Combined with the brand new bass module, the result is a full and authentically natural sound.

HODDDUS - 2DD module with horizontal opposition based on 3D printing technology

The new scientifically designed horizontally opposed dual dynamic driver module further demonstrates the advantages of hybrid headphones in bass dynamics.

HODDDUS (Horizontally Opposed Dual Dynamic Drivers Unit System) uses two 10 mm dynamic drivers arranged closely and symmetrically using 3D printed modular elements. The components form a physical band-pass filter, consisting of two independent filter structures and damping devices, thus facilitating acoustic regulation.

Thanks to the use of dual 10 mm dynamic drivers, the maximum sound pressure of the Blessing 3 is twice that of the previous model, and the diaphragm travel at the same sound pressure is less than half as much, giving the Blessing 3 bass a greater dynamic range and lower non-linear distortion and significantly improved sound quality in the lower frequency range.

The symmetrical HODDDUS arrangement focuses the magnetic field into the magnetic gap of two dynamic drivers, using the same principle found in planar magnetic headphones. This not only improves the energy conversion efficiency, but also further reduces non-linear distortion.

Each of the dual dynamic drivers consists of a flexible diaphragm with a paper dome - the high damping characteristics of the paper dome ensure that the dynamic driver does not generate additional resonance due to the separation of vibrations in the mid and high range, thus ensuring a smooth and natural timbre.

3D printed precision acoustic filtering nozzle

As in previous versions, frequency division in Blessing 3 is performed by both a physical filter and crossover circuit, with the physical filter consisting of a compact and efficient 3D printed acoustic structure. The Blessing 3 frequency division design is the result of a long period of repeated experimentation and modifications that resulted in doubling the performance and accuracy of the earlier Blessing 2 and even better acoustic performance.

Building on the proven excellence of previous Blessing models and related products, the Blessing 3 has been carefully tuned to provide an even more precise VDSF [1] target amplitude-frequency response, resulting in an even more enjoyable and accurate Blessing 3 sound quality.

[1] MOONDROP VDSF target response is the target frequency response curve based on the HRTF (Head Related Transfer Function) of the B&K HATS under diffusion conditions and the ideal room preference curve. The closer the frequency response curve measured in the B&K HATS is to the target frequency response curve, the more the headphones can reproduce the image of the sound scene in terms of frequency response.
