Product Description:

The STRONG anti-flea and tick collar is an indispensable protection for dogs, designed with safety and comfort of animals in mind. The length of the collar is 75 cm, which makes it ideal for large-sized pets. The product is made of flexible plastic in gray and contains selected active substances that repel and fight bothersome parasites.

The action of the dog collar is based on two main active substances: permethrin and geraniol. Permethrin, which is the main component of the product, is a synthetic pyrethroid that acts as a neurotoxin paralyzing the nervous system of parasites. Geraniol, on the other hand, is a vegetable oil that has a deterrent effect on insects, including fleas and ticks. Thanks to the synergistic action of these two substances, the anti-flea collar provides comprehensive protection from parasites attacking dogs.

Application:

The STRONG flea and tick collar is ideal for large-sized dogs, with a neck circumference not exceeding the length of the collar (75 cm). This includes many popular breeds such as: rottweiler, German dog, Afghan chart, Alaskan malamute, American bulldog, as well as other larger mixed breeds. The collar's flexible material and adjustable design make it precisely tailored to your dog's individual dimensions.

The collar against fleas and ticks is recommended to be used especially in dogs that regularly stay outside in areas where the presence of fleas and ticks is common. This is especially important for pets whose outdoor activities are high, e.g. when they walk and run through meadows and forests.

Permethrin, a synthetic chemical belonging to the group of pyrethroids that has been developed as an insecticide, has been widely used in insect and parasite control products in the home environment for many years. Thanks to its effectiveness in eliminating insects, it has been successfully introduced into the pet collar as an effective flea repellent.

In turn, geraniol, a natural chemical compound found in plant essential oils such as geranium, rose or lemongrass, has long been known for its parasite repellent properties. Its pleasant smell to humans is irritating to many insects, including fleas and ticks, making it an effective alternative to other toxic chemicals.

How to use:

After opening the package, carefully remove the collar against fleas and ticks. Gently adjust the collar to the circumference of the dog's neck. Make sure it is not too tight fastened or hanging loose. Then fasten it with a buckle and check that the clasp is secure enough so that the collar cannot accidentally unzip.

Regularly check that the collar is still in place and that there are no signs of damage or slack. The first effects of the collar are visible about 48 hours after putting it on. Please note that the full effectiveness of the flea and tick repellent collar lasts for 90 days. Do not use collars against fleas and ticks in cats and puppies under 3 months of age. Do not use in sick or recovering animals.
