99% of the cars in the VAG group (Audi, Seat, Skoda, VW) were fitted with factory antennas that had a built-in antenna amplifier, and the factory radio through the antenna conductor powered this amplifier when it was turned on. This allowed to achieve a satisfactory signal of the FM station. After replacing the factory radio with an aftermarket one, you should buy a suitable antenna separator that will supply power to the amplifier mounted in the antenna.

Connecting the device is very simple. Between the new radio and the antenna cable in the car installation connect the separator. Then connect the blue wire to the usual blue/white-blue wire on the radio (AMP REM, ANT REM). Thanks to this, the amplifier in the antenna will receive power when the radio is turned on.

Check whether there is an antenna input on the radio for an angle plug or a straight one!
