Powder for the preparation of energy carbohydrate drink. Carbohydrates contribute to the restoration of normal muscle function (contraction) after very strenuous or prolonged physical effort leading to muscle fatigue and depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscles. The beneficial effect occurs when carbohydrates are consumed, from all sources, with a total intake of 4 g per kg of body weight, in doses taken within the first 4 hours after very strenuous or prolonged physical exertion leading to muscle fatigue and depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscles and no later than 6 hours after such exercise.
