Cluster Dextrin® is a quickly digestible carbohydrate that helps replenish energy before, during and after training. It is made from cornstarch (amylopectin), which is broken down by a special enzyme. The result is a highly branched cyclic dextrin (HBCD) with good bioavailability.

This product comes in the form of a highly soluble powder, which is enough to mix with water or your favorite beverage and drink immediately. You get a carbohydrate drink, which comes in handy before training, especially if you do not have time to eat and need fast energy. It is also useful during strength activities, such as running, cycling or other sports lasting an hour or more.

However, it is also useful after training, especially for people who train in two phases. This is because carbohydrates contribute to the restoration of normal muscle function (contraction) after intense or prolonged physical exercise, which causes muscle fatigue and depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscles.

To achieve this effect, you should consume a total of 4 g of carbohydrates per 1 kg of body weight in the first 4 hours after exercise, but no later than 6 hours after the end of training.

Cluster Dextrin® is therefore also suitable for crossfitters, wrestlers, hockey players and other athletes who engage in demanding activities. However, it also has its place for fitness enthusiasts in the weight gain phase as they increase their energy intake.
