7 stage charging mode

• Stage 1 - Diagnostics: Analyze whether the battery can accept the charge or not. This avoids charging a malfunctioning battery;
• Stage 2 - Pre-charging: If the battery voltage is below 12V, the rectifier charges with low current to better protect the battery;
• Stage 3 - Gentle start-up: Gradual charging until maximum intensity is reached without sudden spikes.
• Stage 4 - CC1,CC2,CC3 (Direct current): Rapid change of speed, change of intensity depending on the condition of the battery, has a positive effect on battery life;
• Stage 5 - CV (Permanent Voltage): The battery is charged almost fully and then recharged to 14,6V DC;
• Stage 6 - Rest: The rectifier will cut off the power when the battery is fully charged, when the word FULL appears on the display;
• Stage 7 - Restoration: The rectifier automatically detects the full charge of the battery indicated by the appearance of the word FULL on the display;

With a drop below 12.8V DC, it will perform the above stages again from 4 to 7.

Additional safeguards

• REVERSE POLARITY PROTECTION - An error code indicating REVERSE POLARITY is displayed, the transmission of energy to the output wires is blocked.
• SHORT-CIRCUIT PROTECTION - Protection is activated when the rectifier detects below 0,5V at the terminals, the transmission of energy to the output wires will be blocked.
• SURGE PROTECTION - Protection is activated when setting the charging voltage other than the detected parameter.
• Overheating protection - The rectifier will reduce the charging intensity and even turn off if overheating is detected. After cooling, the rectifier will resume work.
• BATTERY DIAGNOSTICS FUNCTION - The rectifier constantly monitors the status of the battery and can report a charging error in the form of an error code.
• BATTERY RECONDITIONING FUNCTION - In the case of deep battery discharge, sulphation may occur, so that the cells will not be able to accept the charge. The reconditioning function allows you to reverse the sulphation process and restore the charging capacity of the cells. If the rectifier detects sulphation, the reconditioning function will automatically be activated. If the process is successful, the normal battery charging will begin. The rectifier will reduce the charging intensity and even turn off completely if overheating is detected. After cooling, the rectifier will automatically resume operation.
• WORKING MODE SELECTION MEMORY FUNCTION - The microprocessor inside the rectifier is equipped with settings memorization functions, which means that the rectifier will select the last used battery charging settings. Thanks to this, the user does not have to worry about forgetting what settings he used recently, it also reduces the time of preparing the rectifier for work.
