Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1: Cannot reach maximum charging current?

Answer: To protect the battery, the system automatically detects the battery voltage and selects the most suitable current for charging the battery. When the battery voltage is low (e.g. When the 12V battery voltage is less than 11V), the system automatically charges the battery with maximum current. (3 gears can adjust charging current, large current, fast charging).

Question 2: LifePO4 battery is not fully charged?

Answer: When the battery is fully charged, it has a restore function, which reduces the charge by about 1 to 2 V, which is normal. After a full charge and uninterrupted charging, a small current is added.

Question 3: Fan noise?

Answer: It is normal for a fan to have wind.

Tips:

If the battery has not been used for a long time, is old or cannot be recharged, select REPAIR mode to try to activate the battery.

(1) Before charging, please check that the battery is not damaged and that there are no unusual phenomena such as overflowing liquid around the battery. If an unusual phenomenon occurs, the device should be carefully charged.

(2) Do not charge in gas melting environment;

(3) High temperature and high humidity environments should be avoided when charging.

(4) During charging, the surface of the battery must not be covered by any objects, and during charging the battery must be positioned vertically and not tilted;

(5) If the amount of sulphide material at both ends of the positive and negative electrodes of the battery is too high, the sulphide material must first be removed so that the battery can be better charged;

(6) If the voltage of the charged battery is very low, it must be repaired before charging;

(7) Charging lithium batteries is prohibited. Charging batteries with a voltage greater than 24 V with this charger is prohibited.

(8) This is a battery charger, not an emergency starter.
