EXPERT CHARGER 25 is an advanced electronic rectifier designed to charge 12-volt batteries, covering various types such as liquid (acidic, WET), gel (GEL), maintenance-free (MF), AGM, EFB, calcium (CAL) and lithium iron phosphate (LFP).

Thanks to the microprocessor control system, it provides an automatic charging process that, when the required voltage on the battery is reached, goes into backup mode. In addition, the rectifier will automatically resume the charging process after the voltage drops on the battery.

EXPERT CHARGER 25 offers 4 charging modes to adapt to different types of batteries:

• STD: for acidic liquid batteries (WET) and maintenance-free batteries (MF)
• AGM: for AGM, gel and EFB batteries
• CAL: for calcium batteries
• LiFePO4: for lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries

Charging parameters:

The 9-step charging process ensures optimal battery charging conditions. The automatic control system will adjust each of the 9 charging stages to properly charge the battery:

• STAGE 1 - Diagnostic - analyzes the battery and checks whether it can accept charging current; prevents charging the damaged battery
• STAGE 2 - Recovery charge – low voltage batteries are pre-charged with low current but with increased voltage; very discharged batteries can be restored to a usable state and this ensures a longer battery life, the stage is skipped if the battery is minimally discharged and in good condition.
• STAGE 3 - Soft start – the rectifier gradually increases the charging current to reach the set charging current
• STAGE 4 - Pulse charge – the battery is charged with pulsed current (pulse fluctuations take place in the DC current range)
• STAGE 5 - Reconditioning – preparation stage for charging in the bulk charge stage
• STAGE 6 - Bulk charge – constant current charging to the previously set voltage (14.4÷14.7V)
• STAGE 7 - Absorption charge – after reaching the required degree of battery charge, there will be a change to constant voltage (CV) charging and the charging process will be completed
• STAGE 8 - Evaluation diagnostic - automatic monitoring of battery voltage after charging
• STAGE 9 - Maintenance charge – stage supporting the battery (float) and monitoring its condition; resumes charging with reduced current if necessary.

Physical parameters:

The device is equipped with protection: thermal, against the formation of sparks at the pole terminals, against short circuit of poles, overload and reverse polarity.

Specially designed housing allows you to mount the rectifier on the wall, which will save valuable space in the garage or workshop.

The charging cables are 3 meters long and are equipped with an ambient temperature sensor. Its function is to adjust the appropriate voltage during charging, in relation to the ambient temperature. Only for STD, AGM and CAL modes.
