Application:

The BNW 12/25-PT "BOOSTER 340" rectifier is intended for individual users as well as workshops, transport bases and farms as an acid battery charger or vehicle engine start-up assist device.

The choice of type of work / application is carried out through two switches:

• "ON-CHARGE" - battery charging
• "ON-BOOST" - start-up assistance

ATTENTION! The rectifier is not equipped with an internal battery. Therefore, in order to fully benefit from the "ON-BOOST" operating mode, the vehicle battery should be partially charged.

Construction and protection:

The rectifier housing is made of steel sheet, painted with epoxy powder paint. The design protects the charger components from damage, and the plastic handle makes it easy to carry the device.

An efficient and durable transformer on the coiled core is used. Transformer coil windings made of copper wire.

The rectifier has protection against short circuit and overload and reverse connection to battery terminals. It has additional thermal protection (T), protecting the transformer from damage and protecting the power supply circuit and output circuit.

• Charging current indicator (ammeter) enabling ongoing control of charging status by measuring the charging current,
• 12V Output Voltage LED Indicator Light,
• Type of switch: ON-BOOST - ON-CHARGE
• Charging current sub-range switch enabling selection of charging current according to battery capacity (3 ranges: battery capacity from 30Ah to 250Ah),
• Protection of the power supply circuit with a replaceable fuse 6,3A/250V,
• Protection of the output circuit with a 25A redundant current switch,
• Output cables length approx. 2,5 m, terminated with "crocodile" type clamps,
• Power cord ~230V/50Hz length approx. 2,5m.
