Maintaining the efficiency of the Start/Stop system

The CTEK CT5 START/STOP 12 V battery charger and battery maintenance kit is specially developed to keep batteries for vehicles with a Start/Stop system in top condition. In order to fully benefit from the reduction of fuel consumption and CO2 emissions provided by the Start/Stop system, the battery must be kept fully charged. CT5 START/STOP is a powerful smart charger that is also equipped with a CTEK patented support/pulse charging system. Thanks to it, you can safely leave the charger connected to the battery for a long time to ensure that the battery for the vehicle with the Start/Stop system is always fully charged.

Connect and forget

Uncomplicated “plug and use” operation, no need to press buttons or select operating modes – just connect CT5 START/STOP to the battery, and then to the network, then the charger will do the rest.

Patented desulphurisation function

If the battery has not been used for a long time, it may lose capacity, and its service life may be shortened. Thanks to the use of impulse current and voltage, the CT5 START/STOP charger safely removes sulphates from the lead electrodes of the battery, restoring its efficiency.

Safety and ease of use

The CT5 START/STOP charger is equipped with spark-free terminals protected against pole changes. It is also splash, dust, and short-circuit resistant, while advanced technology prevents surges or voltage spikes.
