The Chrysler 12+8 adapter is Autel’s solution for bypassing Chrysler’s Security Gateway (SGM) module, which limits the diagnostic tester for reading DTC codes and displaying data.

The SGM (Secure Gateway) module for the Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, Jeep and Fiat models from 2018 and newer is now available in Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, Jeep and Fiat cars from 2018 and newer. This SGM module prevents the diagnostic tester from controlling the two-way vehicle. Autel has provided a cable to bypass SGM. The new Chrysler 12+8 diagnostic cable enables communication with the latest models of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Fiat and Alfa cars.

The cable adapter can be used with Autel Maxisys series scanners such as MS906, MS906BT, MS906TS, MS908, MS908S, MS908S PRO, Maxisys Elite etc.
