These housings, due to their available dimensions, are compatible with most standard filter cartridges. The cartridges that can be used with our housings include:
- Mechanical cartridges: foam and string wound,
- Reusable mechanical cartridges: mesh,
- Active cartridges: carbon block, granular carbon, softening, and ceramic.

To ensure proper filter operation and prevent damage, the following conditions must be met:
- Operating pressure in the system: 0.2 – 0.6 MPa (2 – 6 bar / 29 – 87 PSI).
- Water hardness: Recommended value below 500 mg CaCO3/l.
- Iron and manganese content: Maximum 0.2 mg/l iron and 0.05 mg/l manganese.
- Water pH: from 5.5 to 9.
- Filtered water temperature: +2°C to +30°C (35°F to 86°F).
- Water must not contain large amounts of mechanical sediment, sand, or silt – in such cases, a pre-filter is required.
