Post-war scientific and technical development, with a strong emphasis on precision industry, allowed the Russians to take a good position among watch manufacturers.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA confirmation of the great commitment to the watch industry was the creation of a single, strong design center. The Scientific and Research Institute of the Clock Industry in Moscow (NiCzasProm - Научно-исследовательский Институт Часовой Промышленности СССР), was a leading plant in the industry, which meant that it was he who prepared the designs of all new mechanisms intended for production in each of the plants, and gave opinions on any proposed changes. An example of a modern mechanism of Russian own construction was the one – known as “Kirowska”, which by license purchased a plant in Błonie.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNegotiation, purchase and implementation of licenses\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs the participants of the negotiations passed, only thanks to their cunning they managed to acquire a license of this modern and according to the Soviet side of the development mechanism marked as caliber 2408. The exception, of course, is the first name - \"Błonie\", which was selected from proposals sent to the competition announced in the press. Names: Błonie Super and Blonex, were certainly fashionable for the time of their appearance on watch faces alterations to modern and pro-export counterparts. In addition, it was also important to publish the memoirs of engineer Kazimierz Żelazkiewicz, and the books: Professor Zdzisław Mrugalski “Clock Industry in Poland” and the history of the plant in Błonie by Mr. Jerzy Bezpałko.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAnother important step for the increase in interest and promotion of knowledge about watches from Błonie was the first exhibition of these watches, which took place in the salon from Time to Time in Warsaw’s Złote Tarasy in 2010.
