Haakaa is a 100% family-owned company based in New Zealand. Our brand message is strong and passionate, and it inspires and motivates us to do what we do.

Haakaa was created due to our problems with finding non-toxic and safe products for our daughter Courtney. Courtney has special needs because she was born with autism and other disabilities. When the protection of health and the environment in which our daughter will be brought up in the future became our top priority, then Haakaa was born.

Over the years, it has been extremely difficult to find organic products suitable for babies and children. Most environmentally friendly children’s brands were limited in scope, and shipping to New Zealand was difficult and expensive. We realized that there was a gap in the development of an assortment that would not only be convenient and versatile, but also safe for parents and their children.

Today, Haakaa offers an impressive range of baby and mom products, made from environmentally friendly and safe raw materials such as silicone, stainless steel, glass, bamboo and natural rubber.
