Action and application:

Protego Vitamin D 2000 provides 2000 IU of vitamin D for adults in small, easy-to-take softgel capsules. Vitamin D contained in the product Protego Vitamin D 2000 was isolated from lanolin, i.e. sheep wool, of natural origin from double irradiation of lanolin.

Vitamin D :

• It is essential for the proper development and maintenance of healthy bones and helps maintain healthy teeth.
• supports the proper absorption of calcium and phosphorus, maintaining the correct level of calcium in the blood
• supports the proper functioning of muscles and the immune system
• takes part in the process of cell division

Since the synthesis of vitamin D in human skin in the autumn and winter is significantly limited due to lower sunlight exposure, and in the summer the amount of vitamin D produced by the body may be insufficient due to the widespread use of cosmetics with UV filters, in accordance with the recommendations of Experts1 it is recommended to take vitamin D in the amount of 2000 IU per day according to the following scheme:

• Children and adolescents (1-18 years) with obesity: 1200-2000 IU from September to April or throughout the year if synthesis is insufficient;
• Adults and the elderly: 800-2000 IU depending on body weight in the period from September to April or throughout the year if synthesis is insufficient, 800-2000 IU in the elderly throughout the year, 1600-4000 IU in obese people depending on the degree of obesity;
• Pregnant and breastfeeding women: 1500-2000 IU at least from the second trimester of pregnancy;
• People with dark skin and those working at night: 1000-2000 IU depending on body weight all year round.

Ingredients: sunflower oil, gelatin, humectant (glycerol), vitamin D (cholecalciferol).

How to use and dosage:

It is recommended to use 1 capsule of Protego Vitamin D 2000 daily after a meal.
