Is Nicalabi protein very sweet in taste?

No - our Protein has a delicate, natural Bourbon vanilla flavor, with no artificial flavors or sweeteners. The taste is subtle, but palpable, so that it blends well with both water and vegetable drinks or porridge. However, if it would be too intense for someone, it is enough to dilute the portion in more liquid (e.g. 250 – 300 ml instead of 200 ml). Thanks to this, the taste becomes even milder and less sweet.

Why is Nicalabis Protein in sachets and not in a large can?

Most canned proteins contain emulsifiers, anti-caking agents, and preservatives to keep them loose when opened.

Our protein is natural – without such additives, so it needs better protection.

After opening the large can, the powder comes into contact with moisture and oxygen, which begins to clump, lose smell and taste.

Therefore, each serving of nikalab is enclosed separately in a sachet that protects the protein until it is used – always fresh, always in the same dose.

Sachets are made of compostable material, i.e. they decompose like plant residues – without plastic, without garbage.

How much protein does our body need per day?

The demand for protein depends on many factors of m.in. age, body weight, level of physical activity and health goals.

Official standards (RDA) indicate a minimum of 0,8 g of protein per kilogram of body weight per day – this is the amount that prevents deficiencies. Experts suggest, however, that the optimal supply for adults is 1,2-1,6 g/kg body weight, and with intense training or weight reduction up to 2,0 g/kg.
