According to the data of the Institute of Economic Sciences Polish Academy of Sciences, T.C. Dębica S.A. is the largest investor and workplace in Dębica and Podkarpacie. It employs nearly 2900 people, cooperating with over 300 local companies.

The amount of 15 million dollars was allocated for the construction of a state-of-the-art gas heating plant, the efficiency of which meets the needs of the Company and allowed for heating 1/3 of the Dębica part with ecologically clean energy until 2004. This allowed the shutdown of many obsolete district heating plants. This investment enabled a reduction of gas emissions by 98%, dust by 100% and a reduction of waste by 40%. There is also a modern wastewater treatment plant on the premises of the company. The quality of the water it drains is better than the one the company takes from the river. Technological changes have made it possible to reduce hydrocarbon emissions by 49%, reduce energy consumption per 1 kg of product by 19% and water consumption by 55%.

Thanks to these investments, the emission of harmful substances during production processes has become many times lower than what is specified in the standards. The best confirmation of this state of affairs is the international ISO 14001 Certificate received in September 1999, which guarantees the functioning of the environmental management system in TC Dębica S.A. The company has implemented and maintained this system, and its scope has included the production and storage of tires. The certificate was issued by the international certification organization Bureau Veritas Quality International. It is worth emphasizing that Dębica was the first in Poland company in the tyre industry that had such a document.
