• Fuel savings. Passed the ACEA MB M111FE fuel economy test (CEC-L-54-T-96) with the result: fuel savings of up to 3%1
• Engine wear and durability. It has passed Ford’s own tests to test the wear of the timing system. It passed the ball rusting test (ASTM D6557) assessing the rusting process occurring in the engine. Passed the Peugeot TU3M anti-friction wear valve mechanism mashing test for cams - (CEC-L-38-A-94). It passed the OM646LA (CECL-099-08) test to assess the wear of cams, cylinders and pushers and the cleanliness of pistons and cylinders and sediment in the engine.
• Cleanliness of the engine. It passed the Peugeot TU5JP-L4 test of high-temperature deposits on rings and the formation of lacquers on pistons (CEC-L-88-T-02). Passed ASTM Sequence VG (ASTM D6593) and Seq IVA assessment of sludge formation at low temperatures and valve mechanism wear (ASTM D6891) Passed ring adhesion test and piston purity (CEC-L-78-08). Passed the MB M111 black sludge test.
• Control of soot formation. It passed the DV4TD medium temperature scattering test (CEC-L-093-04) assessing the increase in viscosity.

Application:

Shell Helix Ultra Professional AF 5W-30 is an oil for gasoline and diesel engines, also with turbocharging produced by Ford: WSS-M2C913-C and WSSM2C913-D. Meets Jaguar Land Rover requirements for SJLR.03.5003 engine oils.
