PETRONAS Syntium 5000 AV 5W-30 is a fully synthetic engine oil developed on the basis of °CoolTech™ technology, which effectively controls heat, preventing oxidation and oil degradation and deposit formation to protect parts and maintain engine performance throughout the period between oil changes.

PETRONAS Syntium 5000 AV 5W-30 has been developed on the basis of environmentally friendly lubricant technology, making it suitable for maintaining high performance exhaust aftertreatment systems and fuel economy.

PETRONAS Syntium 5000 AV 5W-30 was created specifically for passenger cars with direct fuel injection and turbocharged petrol engines and diesel engines, for example Volkswagen and Mercedes Benz brands (please refer to the instruction manual). It is also suitable for SUVs, vans and biofuel vehicles equipped with an exhaust system with an exhaust aftertreatment system and emission control devices such as particulate filters and catalysts, fuel injectors, multivalve heads or turbochargers operating in harsh environments.
