It is the most advanced oil for passenger car engines composed of synthetic base oils and additives reflecting the current state of technological knowledge with a view to ensuring fuel savings and extending the service life as well as maintaining the efficiency of emission reduction systems. Gulf Formula PCX 5W-30 oil is completely compatible with the diesel particulate filter (DPF) and 3-function catalytic converter for gasoline engines (TWC) and is specially developed to exceed the oil change requirements of PSA Peugeot Citroën and other OEMs requiring ACEA C2, A5/B5 oils.

Gulf Formula PCX 5W-30 is an oil with a composition prepared in MID SAPS technology (average content of sulphate ash, phosphorus and sulphur), which extends the service life and maintains the efficiency of DPF and TWC. Extraordinary thermooxidative stability stops decomposition and thus promotes the extension of intervals between replacements, while active cleaning agents reduce the formation of sludge and keep the engine clean. Advanced friction properties provide improved fuel economy (ACEA C2, A5/B5) compared to mineral engine oils and superior wear protection technology provides exceptional wear protection. APPLICATION

Gulf Formula PCX 5W-30 oil is the right oil for the latest generation of passenger cars,SUVs and light vans from Peugeot and Citroën requiring oils that meet the PSA specifications of Peugeot Citroën B71 2290 and for modern high-power diesel engines in passenger cars and light commercial vehicles equipped with DPF and TWC requiring economical fuel consumption oils,compatible with the catalytic converter, meeting the requirements of ACEA C2, A5/B5 specifications. They are also suitable for North American and Japanese passenger cars requiring oils that meet the SM/CF API requirements, and may not be suitable for use in some engines.
