PS-PROTECT cartridges are characterized by a gradient structure in which the density of fibers increases to the inside of the cartridge, thus decreasing the micronage, increasing the filtration efficiency. The production process was further improved by USTM engineers, which allowed to extend the life of the cartridges.

Contaminated water flows through the cartridge towards its core. The deposits contained in it are retained by micropores, the diameter of which decreases towards the interior. Large particles are captured at the surface, while small ones are captured in deeper layers.

This increases the effective surface area, filtration efficiency and life of the cartridge.

The bactericidal substance contained in the cartridges acts on the cell wall - the main element that distinguishes the bacterial cell from the human one. It causes morphological changes leading to the interruption of its structural integrity (lysis) and, as a result, eliminates bacteria or prevents their multiplication. Selective action makes it completely safe for humans.
