The Atlas Filtri FA 10’’ Sanic BX string cartridge with a micron size of 1 micron is used to remove mechanical impurities from the water, e.g. sand, rust, sealing particles. In the offered version, the string cartridge is made in a bacteriostatic version, limiting the development of microorganisms on the surface of the cartridge.

The use of bacteriostatic technology using the known properties of silver ions leads to a number of benefits during operation:

• limits the growth of bacteria and viruses on the surface of the cartridge, so that there is no deterioration of sanitary conditions during the operation of the cartridge,
• prevents pressure loss, which are consequences of the growth of the biological membrane on the filter surface of the cartridge

A feature that distinguishes the Atlas Filtri FA 10’’ Sanic BX cartridge from other cartridges is having two o-ring seals in the upper flange, which perfectly fit into the Atlas Filtri BX 10’’ filter body. This makes replacement of the cartridge much easier than in standard filters and ensures the correct position of the cartridge in the filter body, thanks to which we can be sure that water is properly filtered (no bridging of the cartridge by incoming water).

The 1 μm micron string insert is ideal as:

• pre-filter at the entrance of the installation to the building,
• protective filter against water softeners
• cleaning filter located behind water treatment plants
