UDF – water filter

This filter cartridge should be mounted with the seal facing up the housing.

The outer protective film must be removed before installation.

After installation, the filter should be rinsed with an appropriate amount of water to remove any remaining coal dust.

The filter should be replaced every 6 months or earlier if there is an unpleasant taste or smell of water.

Filter should not be used if:

• water is microbiologically dangerous,
• water quality is unknown

  and no proper disinfection has been carried out before and/or after the filter.

The O-ring seal in the housing should be replaced and lightly lubricated with a thin layer of white technical petroleum jelly to prevent leaks.
