Effective cleaning

The Karcher RCF 3 cleaning robot is an intelligent, app-controlled device for automatic floor cleaning. Kärcher RCF 3 removes stubborn and dried dirt, and also collects dust and dry crumbs. The cleaning robot has two tanks that allow it to supply fresh water and collect dirty water. Kärcher RCF 3 automatic mop is equipped with a mode to detect carpets and other obstacles, allowing it to effectively avoid them. All settings and cleaning modes of the robot vacuum cleaner can be customized to your individual needs in the app.

FC roller technology

The RCF 3 cleaning robot uses the proven Kärcher roller technology, which ensures particularly thorough wet cleaning of hard floors. Light, dry contaminants, e.g. Dustballs, small crumbs or road debris, are collected directly during wet mopping and collected along with the used water in the tank of contaminated water. Roll technology with continuous roll cleaning and a system of 2 tanks ensure optimal results even on larger surfaces, because the roll is always clean.

2-tank system with fill level indicators

Thanks to the intelligent 2-tank system: the microfiber roll is constantly moistened with fresh water from the fresh water tank. Waste water and pollution are collected in the second tank. Tank level indicators show whether the dirty water tank is full and whether the fresh water tank is empty. In both cases, the robot stops working and returns to the charging station. Indications are implemented using LEDs directly on the cleaning robot, as well as using an in-app notification.

Detection and avoidance of carpets

RCF 3 automatically detects carpets using an ultrasonic sensor and shows them on a map in the app. When cleaning, the robot moves on carpets, applying an intelligent driving strategy and preventing them from getting wet. If necessary, the carpet avoidance function can also be deactivated with an application, so that the mop robot moves on all surfaces – even on carpets with short pile.

Intelligent floor cleaning thanks to proven technology

Kärcher RCF 3 uses the proven technology of Kärcher FC electric mops. The cleaning roller is constantly moistened. Damp mops hard floors and also picks up light, dry dirt. The Kärcher Home Robots app makes setting up and controlling the robot incredibly easy. Automatically created floor plans can be edited. The device also recognizes carpets and avoids them.

Creating room maps

In the application you can save maps of the entire apartment, even on several floors.

Defining prohibited zones

On the room maps, you can mark areas where the robot should not move, such as carpets. RCF 3 avoids them when mopping.

Point cleaning

For heavily soiled areas, spot cleaning can be activated, where the robot mop intensively cleans the defined area.

Cleaning parameters

Settings such as amount of water, cleaning intensity, carpet avoidance, or number of passes can be customized in the app.

1 LiDAR sensor

The LiDAR sensor on the top of the device reliably scans the environment, allowing room mapping.

2 Display

The display makes it easy to manually operate the mop robot.

3 Charging station

After cleaning, the robot automatically returns to the station to charge the battery, which lasts for about 120 minutes of operation.

4 2-tank system

The 430 ml fresh water tank can be filled manually. A separate 115 ml dirty water tank can be removed and cleaned.

5 Tank display

The mopping robot informs in the application, on the LED display and using a sound signal about the need to replenish fresh or empty dirty water.

6 Cleaning roll

The cleaning roll can be wiped with a damp cloth, collecting small dirt particles. After use, it can also be cleaned under the tap or in the washing machine at 60°C.
