The DVR-204G-K1 is a 4-channel hybrid recorder with the ability to support cameras in up to 2 Mpx resolution (in TVI mode). The recorder can handle up to 5 cameras - 4 TurboHD cameras and 1 IP camera.

HiLook monitoring systems can be controlled, configured, and operated using the intuitive HiLook App mobile application for smartphones and tablets, and the iVMS-4200 software for PCs. This gives the user constant control and supervision over the monitored area from anywhere in the world with internet access. The app and software allow you to:

• Remotely play back recordings
• Create scenarios and motion detection rules
• Control PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) cameras
• Receive notifications about events within the system

The app uses P2P cloud technology, so the system doesn't need port forwarding on the router.

The recorder supports motion detection from network cameras. This feature allows you to send instant notifications to the user (in the app or software) when changes are detected in the camera's view. It also allows you to search recordings for detected motion in the area protected by the monitoring system.

The HiLook recorder supports an efficient image compression standard, designated H.265. This standard is a direct successor to the popular H.264 technology and allows for almost double the bandwidth load. This translates into significant space saving on the hard disk and extending the archiving time of recordings on the disk.
