The VIOFO A129 PLUS-G car camera is the first camera model that uses two independent processors in the front and rear cameras (optional), this solution allows high-resolution recording from both the front and rear cameras. The processor and matrix were used from the popular version A119 V3. There is a SONY STARVIS IMX335 5Mpix sensor in the front camera. VIOFO has greatly refined its latest model, equipping it with all possible amenities. The camera has been installed WIFI module - the entire camera can be controlled from the position of the phone (free application VIOFO for iOS and Android), we can view the recordings made and rip them to the phone. The camera has a built-in BLUETOOTH module - you can buy a bluetooth button to protect recordings.

The VIOFO brand has introduced active parking mode to all A129* series cameras. To use this mode, connect the camera permanently to the power supply (using e.g. adapters to plug into the battery available at our auctions).

Active mode allows for maintenance-free operation and automatic switching to driving mode or parking mode.

How is the event detected?

Both the G-Sensor and the motion recognition function can detect the event and activate the recording.

The G-Sensor detects shocks or vibrations to protect the current rebuke. The motion detection function responds when it detects the movement of objects moving in the field of view of the camera lens.

What are the advantages of parking mode?

This function was created in response to user demand. This solution allows you to quickly find a key recording, without having to search through all the video footage recorded during a stopover.

There are several options to choose from in parking mode:

In the A129 PLUS-G camera, the GPS module was installed in a well-known way (from the A119 models) in an active mounting bracket. Thanks to this solution, we do not have to install an external GPS module, and in addition, an active mounting bracket allows for easy and quick removal of the camera from the holder.

Thanks to the GPS module, geographical coordinates and speed can be added to each recording (the ability to disable this function in the menu).

When playing recordings made with the GPS module, we also have the option of using the DASHCAMVIEWER program to recreate the passage of the vehicle along with tracking the route on the map.

The camera has a built-in BLUETOOTH module that allows you to pair an additional button (option - not included). The button allows you to manually protect recordings from overwriting.

In the A129 PLUS-G model, you can optionally buy CPL filters for both the front camera and the rear camera. CPL filters eliminate the rebound effect of the vehicle cockpit in the car window.

As a novelty in the A129 PLUS-G camera, a powerful WIFI module working in the band: 2.4Ghz has been built in. Thanks to this, the camera can be controlled using a dedicated VIOFO application, which is free for Android and iOS.

In the application, we can change the camera settings, we can view and play recordings and rip them to the phone.

The A129 PLUSG camera is equipped with a large easy-to-read display. In the settings, we can choose to turn off the screen after a certain time so that the camera does not absorb our attention while driving.

The whole camera was made with attention to detail - everything is perfectly matched.

The A129 PLUS-G camera is attached using a GPS holder to the glass using a 3M sticker, the back with the 3M sticker itself. This method of installation ensures a very stable mount and largely reduces the amount of space occupied by the camera on the front and rear windows.
