Connectivity - technical details

• Digital, encrypted 2,4 GHz transmission. Which means that in order to use the nanny at home, your home Wi-Fi network also needs to use the 2,4 GHz frequency.
• In the event of a temporary lack of Wi-Fi, communication with the nanny is interrupted, monitoring of the child is not possible, but as soon as Wi-Fi starts working again, the nanny's communication with the device is automatically restored.
• IP technology - the camera does not have built-in flash memory or SD card input, because it transmits video and sound directly to your smartphone / tablet / iPhone or iPad - thanks to the free application.
• You can watch your child even when you are away from home. If you have installed an application from the manufacturer and you have access to the Internet, you can watch your child even while on a business trip abroad. The first pairing of the application with the camera must be carried out within the range of the same Wi-Fi network. Importantly, you can connect more than one device to the camera and view the image on several devices at once.

Product Features:

• Convenient installation method - attached a small metal plate (screwed to almost any surface) and the camera base has a strong magnet. You can easily attach the camera to the vertical surface of the wall or closet, but you can also simply place it on a flat surface.
• Standby mode - the device sends you a notification as soon as it registers your child's noises or movement. You can adjust this function - you decide how loud the sounds are to cause notifications to be sent.
• Intercom - you can also talk to your child without moving.
• Night mode of the camera - efficiently records in the dark.
• The camera with the application also allows you to take photos or record a video - without getting up from the couch. Recordings and photographs are saved on your smartphone (or tablet/ iPhone/ iPad). You can show them or send them to relatives and friends.
• Attention! The iPhone shown in the picture was shown only to illustrate how the product works. The product does not include a screen, tablet or smartphone. However, to use the product, you need an Android device version 4.0 or higher or iOS version 7.0 or higher (details below).

• The camera should not be powered by a powerbank. The mobile app does not indicate the charge level of the powerbank. Therefore, if the powerbank discharges faster than expected, the app and camera will unexpectedly lose connection, which is really easy to overlook.
• The camera does not use batteries. USB power cable and USB AC adapter (5V, 1A) are included.

Notes on pairing the camera with a mobile device:

• You can connect more than 1 device to the camera at a time and view the image on several devices at once. In addition, you can watch your child, even when you are away from home. The first pairing of a smartphone / tablet with a camera must be carried out within the range of the same Wi-Fi network, but later you can connect to the camera via mobile Internet on your smartphone / tablet. So you can also watch your child even while on a business trip abroad.
• Once the nanny is set up and paired with a mobile device, there is no limit to the distance of both devices. i.e. As long as the camera is within range of the wi-fi network and the smartphone/tablet is connected to the mobile internet or wi-fi network, then the possible range between the smartphone/tablet and the nanny itself (i.e. camera) is unlimited.

How many cameras can you connect to one smartphone or tablet?

• You can also purchase 2 or more cameras and pair them with 1 mobile device (e.g. smartphone) - this solution will work if e.g. 2 small children sleep in separate rooms.
• On the technical side, you can buy and pair any number of cameras, here there is no technical limit.
• Remember, however, that then all push notifications will come to the same device - which with many cameras can be terribly non-ergonomic.

Is this solution right for you? Where can you see the camera image?

• You can watch the camera image on your Android phone and tablet (a free app is enough)
• You can also watch the camera image on iPhone and iPad (free app is enough)
• The camera image cannot be viewed on a desktop or laptop computer

Why does a nanny only work when there is a Wi-Fi network in the house?

• Although the nanny itself actually generates a Wi-Fi hotspot, it is only designed to pair the nanny with a smartphone/tablet, and then you need to switch both the nanny and smartphone/tablet to your home Wi-Fi network.
• If you use the hotspot generated by the nanny all the time, the transmission range is reduced to only a few meters.
• In addition, when the nanny uses her own hotspot, the app does not send any notifications - then you would have to have the app open on your phone/tablet all the time.
• Therefore, for both security and casual comfort of use, you need a Wi-Fi network. It is worth remembering this when, for example, You spend the night with your grandparents, or when you go out for the weekend.
