A handy hub with a 12-meter USB connection cable allows you to connect up to four USB devices at a greater distance from your computer. This means that the user is virtually independent of the location of the connected devices (e.g. printers). The power supply is provided by the USB interface of the computer or, in the case of devices consuming a lot of energy, you can connect an optional power supply (5VDC, 2A).

If you want to connect USB devices for an even greater distance, you can extend the extension cable by another 12 m using a USB 2.0 repeater cable. The active USB 2.0 extension cable can be connected in series to up to four extension cords; this gives a total length of up to 60 m.

The USB 2.0 amplifier cable (only suitable for 12.04.1085) is available under 12.04.1086.
