Satechi 4-in-1 USB-C Slim Multiport Adapter 4K in Silver is a silver adapter that extends one USB-C port with four connectors: HDMI, two USB-A and USB-C Power Delivery. It supports up to 4K video at 60 Hz, data transfer up to 10 Gbps, and charging the connected device with up to 80W of power.

The adapter has an aluminum housing and an integrated braided cable with reinforcement at the connector. It works in Plug and Play mode, without installing drivers or additional software.

HDMI output with 4K support at 60 Hz

The HDMI port allows you to connect an external display and transfer images at up to 4K resolution at a 60Hz refresh rate. The adapter supports one external screen via HDMI.

The manufacturer recommends a direct connection with an HDMI cable. Signal converting cables, such as HDMI to DisplayPort, can cause connection and image quality issues. Using the video output requires proper image support via the USB-C port of the main device.

Two USB-A ports with up to 10 Gbps transfer

Two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 connectors allow you to connect USB sticks and peripherals. Supported data transfer speeds are up to 10 Gbps.

USB-A ports are used for data transmission and connecting accessories. They are not designed to charge smartphones or tablets. The manufacturer recommends connecting up to one external hard drive at a time. The adapter does not support Apple SuperDrives or other CD readers.

USB-C Power Delivery: up to 100W on input and up to 80W for device

The USB-C Power Delivery port accepts power from a compatible USB-C charger up to 100 W. The maximum power transmitted to a connected laptop or other compatible device is 80 W.

Connecting the charger to the Power Delivery port allows you to charge the main device while using the other adapter connectors. Actual charging power depends on the charger used. The USB-C PD port is for power only and does not support data or video transfer.

The Satechi Slim Multiport Adapter 4K has a slim aluminum housing in Silver. The integrated USB-C cable with a length of 16,8 cm is braided and has reinforcement at the connector.

Connection without installing drivers

To start using the adapter, connect its USB-C cable to a compatible device, and then connect the monitor or accessories to the appropriate ports. The LED indicator signals the connection of the adapter.

The hub draws power from the main device, so it does not require an external power supply to work. The USB-C PD charger can be connected to charge the main device at the same time.
