Satechi 4-Port USB-C Hub with Power Delivery in Space Grey extends one USB-C connector with four USB-C ports supporting data transmission up to 10 Gbps. One of the ports also offers Power Delivery: it accepts power up to 100 W and transmits up to 75 W to a compatible device.

The hub has an aluminum housing and an integrated braided cable. It allows you to connect compatible USB-C devices, use external storage, and charge your source device through a PD port. It works in plug and play mode, without installing additional drivers.

Four USB-C ports in USB 3.2 Gen 2

All four ports support data transmission at speeds up to 10 Gbps. Their features include:

• 3 USB-C ports for data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps,
• 1 USB-C PD/Data port with data transmission up to 10 Gbps and Power Delivery support.

When you connect the charger to the PD/Data port, the other three ports remain available for connecting USB-C devices.

The PD/Data port also supports data transmission up to 10 Gbps. Power Delivery is available in one of the four hub ports.

Upload files and backup

USB-C ports allow you to connect compatible USB sticks, external drives, and other accessories. Data transfer rates of up to 10 Gbps can be used to move files and perform backups.

The manufacturer points out that the simultaneous connection of multiple external hard drives can cause disconnections related to their power demand during data transfer.

Before disconnecting the hub from the source device, safely eject the connected media in the system.

Aluminum housing and braided cable

The Satechi 4-Port USB-C Hub with Power Delivery is made of aluminum. The integrated USB-C cable has a braid and a reinforced part at the connector.

Connection without additional drivers

Hub ports do not support image transfer. This applies to both the three data ports and the PD/Data port. The hub is not used to connect monitors via USB-C.

Do all four ports support data transfer?

Yes. Each of the four USB-C ports supports data transmission up to 10 Gbps. One of them also acts as a Power Delivery port.

What charging power does the hub transfer to the laptop?
